The title of the new Drei Fragezeichen episode "....and the Master of Death" sounds really eerie this time. Just right for me, as this time the favorite themes of the Drei ???, sports, mostly football or some form of artwork, are not present, but rather puppets that literally have something "in them." There’s even a slight creepy effect during the events in the old house with those eerie dolls. However, it’s just a very small creepy effect. Am I mistaken, or were the very old episodes of the Drei ??? actually much scarier? At least the old episodes that dealt with the genre of "horror." But I was also young and innocent back then. J.
"...the Master of Death" is definitely very entertaining and engaging. The 67 minutes of runtime fly by, and by the end, several characters are threatened with death. And I’ll give it away, there are deaths in this episode! However, most of them have been underground for a while... But not all! Exciting... really exciting... and the ending is highly dramatic...
Unfortunately, the original plot of episode 155, which is about the filming of a horror movie in a film course that the Drei ??? participate in, gets completely overshadowed during the audio play.
