LESS THAN JAKE the most consistent Ska-Punk ever! In the 20 years of their existence, around 100 tapes, singles, and albums have been released by the 5 guys from Florida. With "Greetings & Salutations," the 13th album has now been released. However, 10 of the 12 songs were already featured on the last two EPs, "Greetings from Less Than Jake" and "Seasons Greetings"; only "Flag Holders Union" and "View from the Middle" are new. Musically, they deliver the best Ska-Punk as usual, with plenty of brass. However, this is nothing new from LESS THAN JAKE, and their albums from the mid to late 90s remain my personal favorites. I still have to have "Greetings & Salutations," though; LESS THAN JAKE are, were, and will always be top-notch.
But there isn't much new to hear, and I also didn't receive a booklet L, which I find very important as a consumer. That's why there are only meager 6 points. But next time, I'm sure there will be a full score again.
