Take two handfuls of early German punk rock, like Slime, Razzia, Canal & Daily Terror, Toxoplasma, Hass, etc. Add three fingers worth of NDW / punk rock with female vocals from Ideal, Neonbabies, and Hans-A-Plast. Skip the cream and fill the bottle instead with a radio-friendly Hosen-Ärzte mix (the original punk rock note must remain) and garnish the canned beer with a pinch of Knochenfabrik / Chefdenker (yes, Claus Lüer sings on one song too) and there you have Frau Hansmann (with 17% female vocals and 110% punk rock).
Given the mentioned bands, you can imagine what Frau Mansmann vents about in the 27 minutes of “Menstruation in Stereo.” “Bullen” is clear, “Geld” of course, “Pöbelei und Widerstand” is obvious, “4.8‰” is normal, “Therapie” anytime again, “Gewalt ist sexy” oops, “im Bett” is nice and warm, “Kannix” mirror mirror on the wall, “Panik vor der Umweltzone” my 3-liter diesel stays, etc.
So, 12 songs that drown you in politics and beer, and a quote from their info sheet fits perfectly: “... a milestone for Berlin punk and tastes best with cold canned beer!” There’s really nothing more to add (except, don’t make the world wait another 5 years for your next release!).
For your “blue-violet transparent polyvinyl chloride,” I should actually give 2 bonus points, but a. I don’t have the vinyl record and b. let’s not overdo it for the five Berliners, they’re already getting almost the maximum score....
