Anti-Flag have signed with Sony subsidiary RCA Records. The band plans to record a new album this summer, which is set to be released early next year. The band's last album, "The Terror State", was released in September 2003 by Fat Wreck Chords.
On their website, Anti-Flag addressed the switch to a major label. "We Don't Give A Fuck" is clearly directed at potential critics who suspect a supposed sellout. The band's goal is to reach as many people as possible. The previous content of ANTI-FLAG will remain intact: "We will continue to speak out against sexism, racism, and homophobia, as well as punk-scene elitism and superficial assholes. We will continue to stand against the mindlessness and dangers of patriotism, nationalism, militarism, fascism, and morally bankrupt neo-conservatives."
