So far, I have only reviewed CDs and LPs that I either bought new or simply like. A few days ago, I received my first small stack of CDs to review at home, and now I have to write about a new category of CDs for me. For example, about the CD "Silence" by Monsterfilm from Aachen. Well... This 4-song D.I.Y. CDR does not match my taste. To put it briefly, the music is just too sluggish for me! The songs have an okay rehearsal room quality in terms of sound, but nothing else that would make me want to listen to them again. As a master of exaggeration, I will say about the CD artwork that it is spartan. There are no lyrics, and since no band members are listed, I'm not even sure if this is a band or a multi-instrumentalist who just had too much time on their hands between graduation and community service.
