GOTTKAISER describe their music as gripping punk rock with fine melodies, crashing, powerful, varied, and with German lyrics. The band hails from Hamburg and consists of 5 members who have previously been part of bands like BUT ALIVE, RASTA KNAST, EMILS, OHL, COMBAT SHOCK, and VOLKSWIDERSTAND. The whole thing comes across as very compact and convincing. The vocals are very reminiscent of BUT ALIVE, and the drums are played explosively. You can clearly hear the experiences of the individual musicians, and the recording features powerful riffs that provide momentum and listening pleasure. If I had to draw a comparison, I would mention bands like PASCOW and DER TRICK IST ZU ATEM. As far as I know, this release will soon be outdated, as the band is currently looking for a suitable label for their new recordings. I am very confident that this band will soon take off with a capable label. Eight tracks are presented here, and this band will surely blow my mind LIVE. Here and there, there might be a bit too much guitar noodling, but nonetheless, I can recommend this band! Great tennis!
