While listening to this record, I had to think for a while about what bothered me about it, but now I’ve got it. Every song starts off very interesting, but as soon as the vocals kick in, my toenails literally curl up! I must admit that the four guys from Germany, who formed in 2002, truly master their instruments, but singer Mike should take out the trash more often and take a deep breath from the garbage can while he’s at it, because it sounds like it was all sponsored by mommy and daddy. I can’t buy the R’n’R from the band on this CD; a CD title like "With the happiness of a drowning swimmer" doesn’t help, which translates to "Mit dem Spass eines ertrinkenden Schwimmers." As I said, they can play, with great guitar riffs and solos, and the sound is very solid, but... They describe their sound as 80s style influenced rawk’n’roll. I hear a mixture of punk rock, hard rock, and a pinch of pop. Okay, I’m happy for the band if they achieve success, like having one of their songs (from their first release) used as theme music for a TV show, but sorry guys, I can only give this CD 3 points. The record will be released by Dambuster-Records/Distribution: Cargo starting December 15, 2006 Asstronauts
