I was really looking forward to receiving a nice record like this again. Eagerly, I put it in the player and was initially disappointed. No pig rock in the style of Guirellia - like "Hammer Cocks" as one might suspect from the artwork. But gradually, I warmed up to the material and must say, it's a very good production coming from MODERN NOISE. The CD will be available for purchase at CARGO starting March 23, 2007. Listeners will get to enjoy 14 very powerfully charged hits that lean towards the vocal style of GREEN DAY. Melodically rich, it kicks you in the ass, and what you know from the West Coast in terms of Californian punk rock, this is a very comparable knockoff of what you already know. Only better! The drums hit hard, and you could easily imagine "The Animal" from the Muppets sitting there. The vocals are solid, and all the tracks are well-crafted. You can tell the time the band has invested to make this nice record shine. The group, which has been around since 1992, should perhaps provide some useful band information on their homepage; how is one supposed to work with that? This record is a good thing that I highly recommend!
