Two ladies and two gentlemen from Regensburg, who mix their own unique round here. Trashy and modern garage sound combined with retro rock... One could mix THE B-52's with THE MENSENS and sprinkle in a bit of acceleration from THE HEROINS. Additionally, a bit of Screamo shouting is added here and there, as if one were only allowed to sing that one note. Well, that all sounds a bit heavy, but it isn't. Let's start with the fact that every song has hit potential, rocking with flair and grit, and the first female vocals are friendly and very melodic, and can be quite convincing at times. However, the whole thing is not yet fully developed. Also in terms of Screamo, the rule applies: less is sometimes more. The vocal structures don't always sound fitting. The music is almost rock-pop. The organ only convinces me in the first song. Despite this, it is a well-rounded affair being presented here, which already hit the stores in the UK on April 30th. The CD will be available at GARGO starting July 6, 2007, and was released by MODERNNOISE. Live, they are definitely a suitable party band that won't disappoint. Here and there, this record will surely be played again by me! However, I still have some points to deduct... The lyrics are missing in the inlay; instead, one sees four very boring faces of the band members as a band photo and can enjoy all the acquaintances who are greeted on site.
