RamTatTa - ZONARIA – Infamy And The Breed

Zonaria is a new export item from "The Home of Death Metal" and Seventies Rock: Sweden. The band aims to excite metal heads here in good old Germany with atmospheric death metal. Guitar walls that blast dry riffs into the ether and keyboard layers that give it almost epic breadth. The death vocals personally annoy me, but they are genre-typical and therefore not really something I can complain about. By the way, a highlight of the album released on September 7th is definitely the single "The Armageddon Anthem"; from minute 2:10, there is at least briefly some "normal" singing, so to speak, as compensation. The album is well-balanced in terms of tempo. Slower tracks alternate with real bangers. By the way, hats off to drummers in this genre; you probably have to be extremely fit to manage this regular double bass carpet.
For death metal fans, this is definitely a feast.
