If a man wants to charm a beautiful woman with cool elegance, he should take her to a small smoky rock bar (as long as it still exists) and ask the DJ to play this CD; success is guaranteed. It's a shame that the band from Hameln doesn't have many tour dates to offer, as they would already be marked in my calendar. About the sound: Trance/Rock, Psychedelic/Rock. The vocals are strongly reminiscent of NICK CAVE, and influences from the STOOGES, THE CURE, and TOM WAITS are undeniable. After their album "Gold" released in 2003, this CD is their second, and the reviews from the first record can easily be applied to this one. 12 songs that unfold their effect best when you simply let them play while sitting at the bar and letting the evening be an evening. I already know a few pubs where I would recommend this CD for purchase...
