Having been on the road under this name for three years now, the trio released their fourth CD in July 2007. Grunge rock, which, when mixed with hall effects, reminds one of THE VERVE. I find it rather presumptuous to say that the band has produced something completely new and unique; the wheel has already been reinvented in various forms. However, one must acknowledge the catchy recognition value when listening to the songs "Talking about the slaves" or "Send all the angels." Singer and guitarist Julian Warner already demonstrates a sense for melodies here. The sound is very well-developed. Still, I want to caution against overestimating oneself; this music does not really stand out from the underground. So forget about revolution, just make music, and then it’s good...
