Which German punk band can claim to have toured in Russia, France, and even Indonesia? This band always wears presentable suits combined with a fine reputation and intelligent, humorous lyrics — coupled with powerful parts that scream for melody and the necessary hardness. Yes, this is SUPERNICHTS from the beautiful town of Cologne. All members are over 30, yet they are still so playful that they are once again delivering a gem to the public with the usual 2-minute hit guarantee of a whopping 18 songs. A fresh breeze with sing-along guarantee is provided here. This release can convince me, an old hand who no longer knows what to make of German punk. The recording is more than fat, and all the lyrics can be read again in the inlay, although one has no trouble understanding the lyrics. Most of them are personal and deal with everyday life. The pleasant thing about SUPERNICHTS is the fact that they are not only good on record but also know how to get the audience dancing live. On March 28, there will be a big release party in the Cologne Ballerraum, and from April 11, fans can secure the CD at IMPACT and the LP at KATAKOMBEN, and I can only recommend this! I have known the band since 1997 when I first saw them in a school somewhere in Cologne-Holweide, when they were giving it their all in front of 15 people. However, they no longer live up to the reputation of creating student punk. Here you can hear the fun and the many beers in between! Hats off and go buy it! Homepage Video
