Four Liverpoolers seem to be carrying on the legacy of the Beatles here – Britpop primarily with acoustic guitar, and taking their time with the album released in July 2008 has paid off, featuring lyrical songwriting, nothing really new, yet pleasant to listen to. The band name seems somewhat unfortunate, as it appears to be quite popular, and one has to search well online to find information about the band, making it not easy to find the right sites among all the Cloud 9s. And since the information about Joe Hartmann is rather sparse, there’s not much more to say. So, anyone who likes or liked the Beatles can continue to fill their CD shelf here. However, none of the 12 songs exhibit any hit potential, so one shouldn't expect a musical revolution.
Release Date: 10.7.2008, Label/Distribution: Buntspecht/Radar Coud 9
