RamTatTa - ASTRO ZOMBIES – CONVINCE OR CONFUSE

The ASTRO ZOMBIES have been around since 1996. For 13 years, the active band has been on countless stages around the world, uniting psychobillies, punk rockers, and rock'n'rollers. “Convince or Confuse“ is the band's fourth album. Releasing four albums in 13 years is not exactly a high rate. However, the ASTRO ZOMBIES have been on tour so much during this time that it was hard to find really much time for songwriting and recording. The twelve songs that the band presents on this disc quickly make you forgive the long wait. These are twelve songs that pack a punch. The band's musical range is very broad, which makes ASTRO ZOMBIES particularly interesting. The trio draws from many styles, from psychobilly, rock'n'roll, country to folk punk. This makes for a great listening experience. There is not a single monotonous mush here; there is something to discover!

On the fourth song “Hey Gyp“, the band receives support from Sarah Blackwood of The Creepshows. She has recently been performing solo, but will soon be back with The Creepshows.

With “Convince or Confuse“, the band is likely to make many new friends. Musically open, always keeping punk'n'roll in sight, the band has released an album that is likely to be one of the most interesting in recent times.
