"Reach for the Sun" is the second album by the band THE DANGEROUS SUMMER from Maryland (USA).
The band plays beautifully melodic and pleasant-to-listen-to indie rock. The vocals are very refined and manage not only to paint sophisticated images while listening to the album but also to convey emotions. The lyrics, which mostly deal with personal thoughts and feelings as well as dreams and longings, are perfectly staged by the vocals. But guitar, bass, and drums also contribute to THE DANGEROUS SUMMER delivering a release with their second album that deserves attention.
The music fits well with the still cool spring days, and I think the songs will also be wonderful for golden autumn days, when the cool air of winter is already felt, but the sun still manages to send its warm rays to the earth, reminding us of a beautiful summer.
