WOW - HOW COOL IS THIS!!!
My review may come a bit late, but it’s astonishing how my sporty colleagues in the writing culture, like many Germans, manage to tear down a young, creative band from their own ranks.....BRAVO!!!
I’m happy to stand against the wall with the HARTHOF guys and count the bullets, because I’ve rarely heard such a fat production from a German band.
HARTHOF can easily hold their own musically against bands like ALL TIME LOW or SUM 41, etc., and let’s be honest among ourselves, every band steals a part of a melody somewhere, somehow, at some point and calls it inspiration.
I can’t understand the big accusation - "All the lyrics are about love" - because how many bands and artists does it bother us?
Right, none that we like and love!!!
The singing might not be everyone’s cup of tea, okay, but I know how the rabbit runs, the uncle runs, the mom cooks, and the dog...in...the.....good, okay...... because if this album came from Mr. Urlaub or his ilk over the Spree, everyone would be shouting hooray....
The new HARTHOF sounds significantly fresher and more varied than the debut. Drumming that doesn’t have to hide from the US idols, driving guitars and basses.....Give them a chance because they are worth it and won’t disappoint us. In this sense - THEM instead of us!
