Hey, does anyone of you know the place Triptis? No? Then it's time to open your ears wide, because the band LAST CHANCE TO DIE recorded their album in the “Rape of Harmony“ studio in this city.
It should be noted that this is a studio to remember, as far as the production of the album is concerned, the studio can hold its own against the well-known sound temples.
But first, let's talk about the last chance to die!
LAST CHANCE TO DIE
Yes, and what if I don't take it?
Will I become a zombie?
Or is the band name meant to remind one of renowned bands like Bullet for my Valentine? That would fit well in context.
Well, let's take the last chance to die and see if it's worth it, or if a zombie career is more advisable.
LAST CHANCE TO DIE has been around since 2006, which means they have been active for 6 years, and you can immediately tell that they haven't been idle during this time when listening to their songs.
The arrangements are refined and fit perfectly into the sound that the band blasts from the speakers. Metal, hardcore, metalcore, screamo, and a lot of distorted guitars. It sounds like a brutal mix, and it is. Hardly any prisoners are taken here. Especially the hardcore attacks that the combo repeatedly incorporates into their songs just scream for a rough circle pit for the fighter faction. The title track “Suicide Party“ is a prime example.
The band from Chemnitz knows their craft and can make an impact with this album after six years of existence.
It's an album that doesn't invent anything new, but gives a new rough nuance to the sub-genre of hardcore metal or, depending on your taste, metal-hardcore.
The guys have laid down a solid piece here. Roaring and screaming in the brutal blasting from Karl-Marx-Stadt. Guys, you did a great job.
And as I said, this studio is one to remember, because the recording is really great.
And when I think about it, I will try to live on, maybe the band will have more to offer in the coming years. I don't want to miss that!
