Oh shit, what kind of band name is that??? THE OWL IN THE BEARD OF JUDAS is such an unusual name that you really have to come up with it! Thank God the band name is the only negative thing about the guys from Dortmund and Unna. 25-30 years ago, the style of the East Ruhrpottlers was called bizarre German punk with avant-garde synthesizer sound. Today, they themselves call their sound synth-driven inferno thrash noise punk, and that fits like a glove because it actually contains everything. Surprisingly, I even like the 11 songs, all of which are about a minute long! I didn't expect that at first glance after seeing the booklet (in 90s DIY tape style) and the cover. I expected more bad D-punk noise. But no, the songs have something surprising, from the style to the witty, typical D-punk lyrics. At first, I wanted to type out the best 2-3 verses here, but there are actually quite a few more than 2-3 great lines. J
