One Hidden Frame from Finland, who have been around since 2002 with a changing lineup (singer Pekka has been there from the start), are now releasing a new record. Compared to their older releases, there is no break in style here. They offer melodic punk/hardcore at its finest. You can clearly hear influences from Propagandhi, as well as 90s melodycore. In my opinion, there is not a single weak track on the album. Fast riffs paired with slower parts, a clean melodic vocal style, matching background vocals, and occasionally a lively, technically flawless guitar solo all find their way into my ears and make me listen to this CD on repeat. If you enjoy melodic hardcore/punk like Propagandhi, Good Riddance, Strike Anywhere, and also Millencolin, all with a unique flair, you should definitely buy the album and attend the next show of the guys in your area. Because live, they deliver just as well as on the record. Singer and guitarist Pekka seems to have taken a lot of inspiration from Chris Hannah regarding his stage performance, which fits well with the overall concept. The artwork is relatively simple, with the band's name designed by a friend who is a tattoo artist on the cover, and inside you will find all the lyrics and photos from the last tour, etc. What particularly pleases me is the photo taken in our yard when we offered the band a place to sleep after a concert last year, along with the personal dedication to my band Mofabande in the thank you list!
Conclusion: Overall successful, nothing done wrong, and also well produced in the studio of the band's second guitarist Vesa! I can only give it 10/10 points!
