RamTatTa - THE WAY THEY RUN – safe haven 7"

Scandinavian rock bands are always good for surprises, but the fact that three bands do not necessarily make a good band is demonstrated by THE WAY THEY RUN. Originally, singer Claes played with ANCHOR, drummer Julian with ATLAS LOSING GRIP, and guitarist Viktor with GUILTY, all well-known hardcore bands in Sweden. Bassist Ted has joined them, and musically, there is nothing to complain about regarding the melodic punk rock of THE WAY THEY RUN. You can truly feel the years of musical experience from the four, even though there are only four songs included in their debut single.
So far so good, but personally, I can't get along with Claes' vocals, although that is a subjective view. Everyone has their own opinion; I just feel it doesn't harmonize. But many said the same about BILLY TALENT, and it took 10 years for the Canadians to find a label and release their first BT album. THE WAY THEY RUN moved faster, even if it is just a single. Let's see how the Swedes develop further.
