RamTatTa - DOPE STARS INC. – terapunk

Until now, I only knew a few DOPE STARS INCORPORATED songs, mostly I danced to them in the club or heard them in movies like SAW III. With their rocky industrial sound, they hit the right spot for me, yet their previous 4 albums have more or less passed me by, and instead, I acquired their more well-known musical counterparts like NINE INCH NAILS, APOPTYGMA BERZERK, PROJEKT PITCHFORK, or MARILYN MANSON. Especially with the latter, in their better years, the five Italians share many sonically rocky similarities in their fifth album "Terapunk". With the fifth song "Do it yourself", they even take it a step further, as this is clearly punk rock, these are RAMONES chords!!! This is RAMONES plus a bit of synth sound in the background.
So, "Terapunk" has become rockier; the 10 songs are bursting with energy and aggression. The rock-synth songs fit well into the ear canals and cling to the meatus acusticus internus. There, they are recognized based on the mentioned bands, and that is actually the only downside of the band. DOPE STARS INC. lacks a unique style.
Unfortunately, I also do not have a booklet or the lyrics. Even though the sound of the download I have is great, my English is lacking, and to understand the lyrics, I need to read them. Therefore, I unfortunately cannot say anything about the lyrics :-(
