RamTatTa - EIN GUTES PFERD – robotertauben

I really hit the jackpot when I volunteered as a reviewer for this 12" vinyl record. With their emotionally charged punk rock, the four guys manage to win my heart from the very first note. And already by the second listen of their second (?) mini-LP "Robotertauben", you can sing along to the German lyrics, as the songs are structured so rhythmically and harmoniously. What would be too much has been consistently left out by the Berliners, and instead, the good parts have been emphasized even more. EIN GUTES PFERD doesn't jump higher than it has to (okay, I borrowed that from their band info, but it fits so well, and as long as there's a hand's breadth of air under the belly, the obstacle is easily cleared). Aside from the fact that unfortunately only 4 songs made it onto the mini-album, I must regrettably criticize one more thing. I don't actually know if "Robotertauben" is truly their second output, because the homepage of the PFERDE doesn't provide much information aside from the many gig dates. The guys should work on that! And since I only received the good piece of vinyl as an MP3 download, I can't comment on the layout, insert, cover, etc., but from the pictures on the internet, the record with the "Robotertauben" screen print on the B-side, which can be obtained in small or even tiny editions in various colors, looks fantastic!!! TOP! Thumbs up!!!!
But there are only 4 songs, 4 great songs, 4 great songs on a great piece of polyvinyl chloride including a download code!!
Even if it's only about 12 minutes, every vinyl record player owner simply must have this mini-LP!!! Mandatory purchase!!!
