What a title. Who hasn't woken up or come to their senses right there? Early in the morning on Mistake Street. And when you later try to find that street, you simply can't. It's like a curse.
SCHEISSE MINELLI have changed their producer for this album. Instead of Archi aka MC Motherfucker from Terrorgruppe, this time Adam Schwartz is the producer. Adam has also mixed The Movement, for example. New like Adam is Marlon, the new drummer.
Otherwise, there isn't much new on this album. Why should there be? SCHEISSE MINELLI have nurtured and maintained their own sound since their founding in 2003. This sound still hits hard. Trash punk, speed, 80s old school hardcore — these are the three ingredients that the exiled Americans mix into a truly potent brew. If the 80s sound had sounded like this back then...
The album sounds as if it was recorded in one go. In fact, almost the entire album was recorded in two days. The raw energy comes through well, and anyone who likes skate punk, old school 80s hardcore, and a dose of trash will discover a new favorite band if they don't already know SCHEISSE MINELLI.
Lyrically, the band also doesn't hold back, so one can't help but say that everything fits.
With “Hallo Werner,” there’s a cover version of “Hallo Nachbar,” an early song by Terrorgruppe, which originally comes from the Hostages of Ayatolla, as a closing track on the album.
The band is currently on tour, don't miss it! Live, the band is an experience!
