First of all, I am not a fan of acoustic music...
Therefore, this CD has an extremely hard time penetrating my heart...
And then with a ukulele !!!!!
At least for the first 6 songs of the split CD, which are sung and played by Borsti Ukulaila. Musically, I won’t give any points, it’s just not my world, but Borsti's lyrics get full marks.
The lyrics are truly top-notch punk attitude and speak to my heart....
The next 6 songs are by Rodi, who is the singer and guitarist of 100 KILO HERZ. With his acoustic guitar, he can at least gather a few points musically/instrumentally. In the summer by the campfire with a case of beer, these 6 songs will surely go down well, but in February at 6 AM in the car at 0 degrees, I can hardly imagine that. But Rodi's lyrics, which are particularly shaped by his voice and are partly sung together with his girlfriend Borsti, I really like a lot...
In general, with this split CD, Rodi's and Borsti's lyrics, which are only accompanied by the concert guitar or ukulele, really stick in your ear. On the other hand, this "slow" acoustic music is simply not my world, but for campfire romantics and van dwellers, it is certainly a dream come true.
Conclusion: If this split CD were not acoustic but blasted with a lot of noise from the speakers, then these 40 minutes would certainly receive full marks. As it is, there are subjective deductions.
