SCAB from Bavaria state in their band info that they want to stand out from the "worn-out skate punk" and prefer to take a completely different path with their provocative songwriting. The quartet usually succeeds quite well in this. Certainly, there are still some tracks on the CD that inspire me to get back on a board and take a good fall. However, the music of SCAB sounds far too fresh and unspoiled for that. Nevertheless, SCAB also contributes songs like "Otherside" or the magnificent "The rebel's song" that bring me back down from the board to indulge in melancholy on the Poller Wiesen and ponder about this and that. A CD that fully convinces me and comes with beautifully designed artwork.
