Düsseldorf and its bands, a chapter that will probably stretch on for the next few years, like chewing gum.
Everyone in the public eye talks about DORO, Toten Hosen, Kraftwerk, or whatever else.
Is there anyone in this universe who keeps their eyes and ears open to everything that is happening here?
And now I have a piece of work in my ear that completely blows me away.
The Düsseldorf band "Everrain" has sent us their latest production. What can I say, this is simply top-notch rock cinema.
If you take off the blinders, you not only recognize the potential of a fabulous band, but you also see that something truly
great can happen here. Of course, as with every newcomer band, comparisons are sought. Well, here you have it... FOO FIGHTERS couldn't have done it better.
The current album "Head under Water" is bursting with energy, pure rock'n'roll, and soul. And the production is simply absolutely fantastic.
Normally, I dissect a CD completely and evaluate it piece by piece, but that just isn't possible here because each song has its own unique character. And there are no
weak points.
So here's the complete conclusion. It is the best rock album of 2011 in the newcomer category that I have heard to date. Now I just wish that someone would step up to support something like this.
