TAKE SHIT has been following me with their German punk for 15 years now, and I have been eagerly watching their development. However, since their last album about 3-4 years ago, there has only been one announcement that reached me, "TAKE SHIT leaves NIX GUT", since then NIX GUT has been collaborating with FREIWILD. I call that consistent, and my thumb goes up for this step.
On their new album "Klischee-Bedarf", which is only available as a 10" vinyl record plus download code, the musical development is clearly audible, while the 10 songs still remain classic German punk. It features a good sound and the right lyrics about cops – state, resume – order, punk – losers, etc.
Appropriately to the last song "… und tschüss", I now also say "und tschüß" and leave the 5 guys from Swabia with 7 points for these 22 minutes of punk rock.
