RamTatTa - ELM TREE CIRCLE – drawn

What kind of awesome punk rock is coming out of my speakers? The music immediately invites you to dance, mosh, and have a great party! WOW, these songs really knock me off my feet, this mix of BLINK 182 and GREEN DAY.... Where does ELM TREE CIRCLE even come from? Definitely California, where else... Not at all, as I’ve now listened to their 18-minute debut EP for the 20th time and am celebrating it... Now while writing this review and gathering information about the band, I see they don’t come from the West Coast, nor from the East Coast or the 30 US states in between, this trio comes from Iserlohn!!! So that earns them a special point; anyone who leads me so well down the wrong path deserves that special point. Unfortunately, I have to take that point back immediately because I have nothing else, no booklet, no lyrics, nothing... just the cover :-(
Still, the 6 songs on their debut EP are really amazing, they go straight to the blood... It’s a shame that there are only these 6 songs, but I’m sure we will hear more from ELM TREE CIRCLE. At least I’m eager for it.... where are they playing? I’m going... And YOU will come along!!!!
