SIBERIAN MEAT GRINDER released their debut album just over 2 ½ years ago. An album that managed to be not only scene-relevant from the get-go but also brought the band a level of recognition that very few bands achieve with their first album. It's quite astonishing how many people walk around Berlin wearing a shirt of the band, but on the other hand, it's not surprising at all, because the debut album was simply grand (review at: http://www.ramtatta.de/s/reviews/f/details/id/7406/).
Now the band is following up. Once again, the album is released on Destiny Records and once again, it blows you away.
Hardcore meets Thrash Metal meets Hip Hop meets a little bit of Grindcore.
Bands improve through intense live performances and can thus showcase more musically, and through better interplay, the songs can become more captivating. So far, the theory.

As a result, everything is even better than on the debut album. Hard to believe, but absolutely achievable for the band.
This is hardcore at its best.
Musically incredibly clean and to the point.
Lyrically, they might not be as direct due to the circumstances.
There are no explicitly critical lyrics against politics or society. However, one must also consider that this band comes from Russia, and what happens to people who raise their voices in Putin's realm can be followed in the media time and again. This is certainly just the tip of the iceberg. Thus, they prefer (and feel safer) to focus on lyrics that address solidarity, struggle, and the band's amazing music. Those who look closely will surely find a metaphor or two.
Despite this, the band is clearly positioned where they see themselves.

The CD comes in a digipack, and those who act fast can still get the limited colored vinyl, which is limited to 500 copies.
