WOW, with TEAR THEM DOWN you get a hefty dose of Swedish hardcore punk rock. The fact that they have opened for SICK OF IT ALL and ZEKE during their 12 years as a band fits perfectly musically. And since I love both bands, it’s no surprise that TEAR THEM DOWN resonates with me 100%.
Resonate? Nonsense! The 4 Swedes simply blow me away with their 13 songs on their second album "Dystopian Beats"!
Whether the song lasts 60 seconds like "Brown Bag", 90 seconds like "This won’t end well", or 2½ minutes like "Wasting" (the three videos are linked above, listen and "like").
"Tell me something" is, by the way, the longest song on the album at 3:11 minutes, and these 191 seconds are enough to say it all ;-)
However, after 25 minutes, the fun is already over :-(
No matter, the fun starts all over again, and this process has been going on for me for weeks...
On repeat, and rightly so!!!
